Great software for analyzing contour data for practicing architecture.
OK for some uses - however the Update Altitude tab is of questionable use - probably OK in flat terrain - in hilly terrain altitude at the given x,y can be off by 10+ meters elevation compared to Google Earth! - Update Altitude tab must use a very coarse x, y grid to estimate the altitude - the correct altitude can be found over 50 meters away in the x,y direction
Unfortunately, the track preview doesn't work in Windows 10.
Good product for conversions.
The program would probably prove to be of intergalactic quality, if I could only manage to start it.
The best services for downloading.

Mine works fine on Ubuntu 12.04.
I can think of a con - it's only for Windows. I'm bummed.
NM, I found the Mac version on the home page link!
Being able to export to ESRI shape files would be awesome. I don't use ArcGIS, but the shape file format is a de-facto standard file format for a lot of spatial applications (GIS). Right now I have to work from the CSV file, which is possible, just more cumbersome.
